How long has the current update been up? I guess this has been the longest time without any changes and the gameplay is worse than ever... The game is a fucking disgrace. The best version of this game was probably in late 2009. It've had some major changes after that and was decent until 2011 but after the current version came out it has been unplayable crap.

This game is coming to a slow painful death and to be honest the owners have themselves to blame.

Also, it is quite obvious why the development of the game has come to a stand still. After every update people say "good update, decent", then after 2 weeks. "Mikko please update this" "this is bad can you fix it".

The community can never be satisfied with 1 update, if the old server was still intact without any updates similar to Hockey then I don't think we would be arguing or pleading for updates. That game play was simple and easy to understand for newcomers.

Also, the game is less appealing due to the reg standards, people asked for "pro/elite" regs to get away from novice players, but they are never used, same with the beginners reg now hardly used.

Moderators: shouldn't even go there. Blister Tainio Clinton Cesc Excalibur aat5i Gerrard Miksuuri Joska Sepsi. Where are these moderators now, inactive maybe come on 3 times a month or to only check forums. Lupasenko unless there are other hidden moderators, is the only active mod, so when someone gets muted everyone knows it is Lupasenko and they start getting mad at him.

End of the day it's a game for timepass. If you are going to spend 5-6hrs a day on it, in the long run it is bound to get "boring" and you notice the flaws.

Eh? The problem with the updates were that it was always 1 massive update changing the gameplay completely making some things better and some things worse. At some point it needed only a little tweaking and everything was messed up once again.

Yes soccer.kiekko.tk was created after an april fools joke, but this current version? Not. :S Anyway the problem with this game is that its still looks like a cheap, unwanted cousin of hockey.tk.

That is all fine asking for "minor tweeks", but if they are so minor why not just leave it, obviously no game can be perfect, before this update I remember they changed something and the power changed drastically, which Mikko adjusted after confrontation in a practice by a few of us.

If you scroll back these pages I'm 90% sure you will see 10-12 different people complaining about all updates. Therefore the developers think the current version is shit and look to find a new one. Little do they know they have gone a step back rather than forward. Oh well their money end of day, I'm sure if the population of this game dies out quite a bit they will shut the site down/servers.

The current version is fine, there's just a few bugs and the keepers need to be slightly harder IMO.

Some people still keep talking about switching back to the old server. The old server was utter shit. The goalkeepers were really bad there. What if we go back? Eventually there will always be a group which moans about the goalkeeper skills.

Bulli. These things are only small parts of the big problem. The developers lack the energy to make this game exciting and have regular updates (eg. twice a month). This game is dying, which happens with Kiekko too at the moment.

The problem is the development of both games. We want something fresh, something new. This is not happening. That is the reason why people leave.

PS: I don't say blame the developers, they just don't have a clue about marketing and the rest of the things they are doing, excluding programming.

Just to clarify this, that shot was done using the /pass command and the GK is stood looking at Regan because I had the ball there so he would have to dive for the shot.

Agreed, the keepers should tip shots around the post's for corners. They do need improving in their general play as well as Regan showed, there's so many bugs.

One more annoying thing you can slide the ball without even touching it, Mikko ain't bothered though and even if he does fix the game, he'll take his time.
